Offered is a high-grade partial set of 1951 Berk Ross two-card panels, all in their original boxes, only missing the entire 4th series cards. The complete 72 cards set was issued in four different series, with nine 2-card panels per box, and contained mostly baseball players, but also included cards of golfers, boxers, college football and basketball players, even figure skaters. This offering includes Joe DiMaggio, Stan Musial, Yogi Berra, Phil Rizzuto, Ben Hogan, Bob Cousy, Sugar Ray Robinson, Jake LaMotta, Jesse Owens, Dick Buttons with many other "Hit Parade of Champions!" Interesting cards in the set are the Bob Cousy card, which is his first ever card appearance, Joe DiMaggio's final active card appearance, and a card of Jake LaMotta, who was boxing's reigning middleweight champion. The final 4th series box of cards, which is missing, includes Whitey Ford, Robin Roberts and Bill Sharman as the only big names not included in the partial set. Often seen with cards very far off center, many of the key examples in this lot are well centered.

Grades NM to NM/MT, virtually never handled cards.
